Industry Position: CMoA displays the World’s largest collection of High Performance Computers (HPC’s).
Assignment: Interpretive design. What is a SuperComputer? How is it different from a regular laptop? BrandBook created a system of interpretive signs and identification for the 40 HPC’s in the exhibition, as well as murals and circulation planning. Brandbook is currently developing a comparative speed index for this exhibit and exhibits explaining vector and massively parallel processing.
Results: The supercomputing exhibition drew attention from more than 60 media outlets, and visitors from all over the US and spurred donations of new computing assets, including a 1,200 volume library on high performance computers.
